College prep research

So, at this point in the process, I am working on some behind the scenes planning. I had my wallet stolen a while ago, lost my license, needed to apply for a replacement, etc. Basically it was a huge mess being able to fill out the Cory forms to volunteer. I know that those who have been volunteering have been trying to figure out the best approach for working with the students on college prep. I think that even though maybe they won't be working directly with homework and such, it still could be beneficial to bring college prep materials perhaps.

So far i've been researching essay writing tips, how to pick the best college fit, application requirements, admission test prep, and financial aid advice. We will see if the group can implement any of these things through our volunteer process...let's hope!
